Course Evaluation Through Blackboard
|With the sudden move to remote learning after Spring break, we have the opportunity to rethink how we issue course evaluations to students and share evaluation results with faculty. Last year alone (the academic year 2019-2020), we used around 9600 pink envelopes and 180,000 forms. This transition to move our paper course evaluations online will not only help us reduce our carbon footprint, but also make the course evaluations more accessible to faculty and students. We have upgraded to a newer version of the course evaluation system in June. With this upgrade, students can now take the course evaluations directly in Blackboard (Bb) on any device, and faculty can view evaluation results directly in Bb as well.
In this workshop, we are going to demonstrate the new process for faculty and students. Most importantly, we would like to take this opportunity to discuss any of your questions or concerns regarding course evaluations.
