GA15: Conducting Effective Workplace Investigations

This session includes a presentation of how to conduct effective workplace investigations into ​Title IX ​complaints of workplace misconduct while being mindful of confidentiality issues and fulfilling Employer’s obligations. Advice on handling the curve balls that commonly arise when conducting internal investigations and special issues to consider when investigating claims of workplace misconduct.

Alexia V. Gannon is a native Texan and attorney with 17 years of experience in the HR/labor and employment law field. She is a partner in the firm of Roach Gannon LLP, which specializes in conducting workplace investigations and developing and delivering training to employers in both the private and public sectors.

Deans and Department Chairs are highly encouraged to attend this workshop.
