Help students get "Better Grades, Less Stress" virtually! ACC has amazing resources: Academic Advisors, Success Coaches, Completion Coaches, Counselors, Tutors and Academic Coaching to name a few. The problem is that they all sound the same! This workshop will help break down each of these resources and share some of the overlapping and distinct service offerings in an effort to help you make more efficient referrals. Next, we’ll take a deeper dive into the Academic Coaching resource and share how this department has pivoted to assist students with online courses and the specific study strategies students need to succeed virtually. A discussion about the new Embedded Learning Support Services (Embedded Academic Coaching and Embedded Tutoring) will also be shared.
