PROFDEV: Continuous Employee Development with LinkedIn Learning for Managers/Admin.Asst.

LinkedIn Learning training pathways are self-paced, curatorial and customized to individuals or teams. The LinkedIn Library provides access to over 15,000 courses and covers a broad variety of topics. Available courses can help individuals address gaps in knowledge related to leadership, management, new software, communication, career development, interviewing, teaching strategies, and instructional technology training, among many others.

Once individuals complete microlearning training pathways, professional development credit is transferred to your professional development transcript, and completion certificates can be shared to your professional LinkedIn profile or downloaded into your portfolio. Since July 2019, ACC personnel have viewed over 1,054 hours of LinkedIn training videos, and accessed roughly 2,493 courses.

For Managers and Admin. Assistants At the end of this workshop you will become familiar with the talent management features using functions on the learning admin dashboard:
1. People/Group Management (managing learning for your department/division, extending licenses),
2. Content (how to manage learning and training in three custom ways using LIL)
3. Reports (goes over your assigned group/divisions analytics on a plethora of learning details per employee).

Presenter:

Vanessa is the Designer for Professional Development and Design Facilitator for Human Resources and Staff Professional Development teams. As a Designer of Creatively Wild Objectives, Solver of Totally Wicked Problems she thrives at the cross section of Human Centric curiosity, Design & Facilitation. (& dogs!)
One of her roles includes serving the College as the LinkedIn Learning Campus Master Admin (former Lynda.com) and enjoys engaging professionals to grow, and challenge their learning. She thrives helping leaders and teams communicate visually, actualize visual ideas and apply designer-logic creative problem solving. Helping others harness individual "whole person" skill sets, build creative capacity and own "whole person" development is her professional joy.
