A participant walks away with:
- Working knowledge of the Photoshop User Interface, basic text and compositing tools, and some fun and funny images to post in your social media.
Presenter:
Sara Farr is a computer artist and full-time faculty member in the Game Development, Animation, and Motion Graphics department. She has been teaching Photoshop at ACC for almost 20 years. Sara first worked with Photoshop back in 1993 at a small Austin game development studio, and has been working with it ever since. She has published game art with both Electronic Arts and Disney Interactive.
In addition to teaching, Sara studies and performs improvisational comedy. She created the Puppet Improv Project to explore improvisation through puppetry, and uses Photoshop to design all their shows. She has given talks on art and storytelling for a wide range of audiences at various academic, industry and social events, including Austin's Nerd Night. Yay NERDS!
