We are aware that all employees' Cybersecurity Awareness Training will expire 08/31/2021.

ALL mandatory training for new and current employees is suspended starting Monday, August 9, 2021 through November 1, 2021.
Employees will be able to resume training on Workday to fulfill compliance requirements after November 1, 2021.

More information will be sent to all staff and faculty soon.

LIB: New Librarian Training on Collection Development & Weeding

CDT has developed a training for New Librarians (mandatory for those with less than 3 years of relevant experience) on the fundamentals of collection development and weeding. This event will include hands-on activities, and will cover topics such as: becoming familiar with your collections and identifying their weak areas, setting up GOBI notifications, deciding what to select, finding and selecting e-books and A/V materials, selection workflows, what to do if GOBI doesn’t have many items in a subject, deciding what to weed, and weeding workflows.
