SDD19: Creating Connections and Establishing Inclusive Environments
Hours: 1.33
Participants will spend time exploring their personal and social identities and learning about the identities of others around them. After exploring the identities participants affiliate with, they will discuss how these identities foster or inhibit connection and how we can create learning and working environments that are inclusive.
A participant in this workshop will walk away with an increased awareness of personal and social identities as well as the intersection of identities and how privilege and oppression impact our ability to connect with others and create inclusive environments.
