Students across the disciplines seek assistance with language and writing skills from tutors in ACC's Learning Labs. Come learn how faculty and staff can help students know what to expect from tutors and make the most of this valuable resource.

Participants will learn Learning Lab procedures, principles of effective writing tutoring applied in ACC's labs, tools that help students maximize their visits, and opportunities to partner with tutors.

Now in her 20th year with the College, Susan Meigs has two positions at ACC: Adjunct English Professor and Instructional Associate in the HLC Learning Lab. She is a current Project ACC Fellow and was part of the first cohort of Digital Fellows. In addition to her roles at ACC, Susan also teaches at Huston-Tillotson University and online for Cochise College.
