SDD19: Illume Courses: Identifying Courses that Impact Students’ Pathway to Graduation

Hours: 1.33

Participants will be introduced to an online application used to explore ACC courses that have the greatest impact on student persistence and graduation. This live demonstration will include course exploration approaches that will yield key insights to inform what types of advising, counseling, interventions or support may be taken to help students to persist and graduate.

Participants will understand how student performance in “specific courses” may influence their educational success. They will also know how different courses affect particular student groups. In addition, participants know how to generate or request Illume Courses reports that provide key insights and potential actions to take for certain students to help them to persist and graduate.
