Hours: 1.33

Snapchat is the social media platform most regularly used by college students today. Many professors outlaw mobile phones and their respective applications during class, in an attempt to facilitate a more focused learning experience. But what if we flipped the script to encourage engaged learning opportunities? This discussion will offer tangible advice, including group exercises, designed to encourage the use of Snapchat in classroom activities. Specifically, the "Snapchat Q&A" will be showcased. Bring your mobile phone and creativity!

A participant in this workshop will walk away with in depth knowledge of how to use Snapchat to facilitate classroom engagement.
