SDD19: I Never Metacognition I Didn't Like

Hours: 1.33

Join us as we create a community of learners exploring the concept and practice of metacognition and the role it plays in the learning process. We will introduce a set of tools that you can use in your classroom to support metacognitive learning in your students and discover how metacognition applies to you in your role as an instructor.

A participant in this workshop will walk away with a new perspective and a set of tools that encourage a metacognitive approach to learning in the classroom and beyond.

Tobin Quereau recently retired from teaching as a full-time faculty member in the Student Development department. His interest in learning and teaching continue to grow as he returns in the role of an adjunct faculty member in the department and a member of the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning Advisory Group.
