SDD18: Free Money Now: Preparing a Winning Project Proposal for Grant Funding
Hours: 1.3
Each year, Resource Development Officers partner with faculty and staff to achieve over $20M in grant funds for ACC. Participants in this workshop will learn how to participate in this process and gain funding to support their programs. Attendees will receive information about regional, state, and federal funding sources as well as techniques to design a compelling application that supports the goals of the Strategic Plan. Individuals that attend will have the opportunity to pitch proposal ideas to grant development staff and learn about the steps in the grant writing, submission, and approval process.
Participants will receive information on appropriate funding sources for their proposed projects as well as guidance on designing a winning proposal. Individuals will also receive the opportunity to be paired with a Resource Development Officer to continue the application process after the workshop ends.
