Equity by Design: Developing Strategic Plans for Action & Accountability (Part 1)

Hours: 3

Achieving racial equity and inclusion in enrollment, persistence and completion requires 1) rigorous institutional assessment and accountability; 2) authentic student and community engagement; 3) strategic goal-setting; 4) and implementing and evaluating culturally relevant strategies and tactics. Participants will analyze relevant data sets; apply equity design tools to evaluate their current strategic plans; and to begin developing new equity-focused strategic plans for action and accountability. Participants are required to enroll in both part 1 and part 2 (Friday, January 26, 9-Noon). Seating is limited to 30 participants.

*Prerequisites- One of the following learning experiences: 1) ACC’s Equity Leadership Orientation or 2) ACC’s Assessing Consciousness, Culture & Climate for Racial Equity or 3) Beyond Diversity I. Registration is required for Part 2, which be held on Friday January 26.
