Welcome to WordPress training at ACC. WordPress is the content management system (CMS) that runs many of the websites that are on the ACC domain. Today we will discuss a bit of background information about how ACC came to use WordPress, and what our next steps are in how we take care of content on the website.

A participant will walk away with:
Knowledge on how to create and publish posts and pages; customize your site with themes, widgets, and custom menus; and extend WordPress even further with plugins.

Edward Terry is an ACC Web Manager in the Public Information and College Marketing department. He has been working on the ACC website for more than 12 years and has seen many iterations of the website over the years. He is excited about the new opportunities that faculty and staff have for publishing and maintaining content on the ACC website.
