We are aware that all employees' Cybersecurity Awareness Training will expire 08/31/2021.

ALL mandatory training for new and current employees is suspended starting Monday, August 9, 2021 through November 1, 2021.
Employees will be able to resume training on Workday to fulfill compliance requirements after November 1, 2021.

SDD17: The Good, The Bad, and the Genetically Modified

In this workshop, participants will take a look at how organisms are genetically modified as well as a look at some of the main objections to genetic modification.

Participants will walk away with a better understanding of how existing cellular mechanisms are modified to do genetic engineering and an objective look at the benefits and potential harms of genetic modification and how it affects us economically and personally.

Steve Bratteng has been involved in science education for forty plus years at the middle school, high school, college, and university levels.
