The Student Money Management Office has a Better Money Habits activity designed specifically for EDUC 1300 instructors to use as an in-class assignment, homework assignment, or as extra credit. Students receive a set of ear-buds as an incentive for signing up for the activity and upon completion will receive a 2017 planning calendar. This webinar will include an overview of the Student Money Management Office, and will review the Better Money Habits activity and provide instructors with suggestions on how to best integrate it into class. Karen Serna is the Director of the Student Money Management Office. The Student Money Management Office was established in early 2016 and offers financial education workshops and tools to help students better manage their personal finances.
