Dr. Kristi Henderson,the Vice President for Virtual Care & Innovation at Seton Healthcare Family, will provide an exciting overview of the ways to use technology to improve the health of Central Texans and increase access to high-quality, affordable medical care.
You will discover how virtual care can provide new tools and modalities to reach patients in a more efficient way. ‘Virtual care’ can also help address gaps in reaching and treating vulnerable populations in the community.
Dr. Kristi Henderson is the Vice President for Virtual Care & Innovation at Seton Healthcare Family in Austin, Texas, which is a part of Ascension, the largest non-profit health system in the country and the largest Catholic Health System in the world. Prior to this role she was the Chief Telehealth & Innovation Officer for the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) where she led the development of a statewide telehealth program, which is recognized as a national model. A few of her accomplishments include: 2015 Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women, 2013 Robert Wood Johnson Nurse Executive Fellow, the 2014 Nurse Innovator of the Year, 2012 Advanced Practice Nurse of the Year, and voted an "Edge Runner" by the American Academy of Nurses. |
