GA16: Cultural Excellence - Leading, Working and Communicating Effectively across Difference

Hours: 1.5

At a time of growing frustration, mistrust and conflict across the many cultures of our diverse society, it is even more important for ACC faculty and administrators to lead, teach and communicate effectively across all differences, especially in the classroom. Local trainer and adjunct faculty, Jeremy Solomons, will lead a thought provoking and highly interactive session on identifying and overcoming the conscious or unconscious biases that we all have to create true collaboration, deep harmony and sustained learning in the classroom and beyond.

Participants will walk away with: New tools to help us identify and overcome our biases and techniques for creating harmony, collaboration, and sustained learning in the classroom.

Jeremy Solomons is the UK-born and USA-naturalized founder and president of Jeremy Solomons & Associates, which helps current and future leaders to connect and communicate effectively across all cultures – geographical, organizational, professional and individual.
