One recent survey studying teens and texting found that only 9% of teens open and respond to emails, while over 80% open and respond to text messages. Although our student population includes more than just teens we've all noticed a similar trend with all of our students. This quick webinar will introduce you to the Student Money Management's texting pilot which will launch in December 2016. Using a web-based texting platform that allows for two way texting, the Student Money Management Office will send subscribed students text messages reminding them of important financial aid deadlines and reminders, information about upcoming financial education and other workshops, and tips to manage personal finances.
