Career Advising for Advisors

Hours: 3

This training will highlight the "Basic" career advising process; components of the career advising conversation; career assessments (FOCUS2 and MBTI); and career-exploration resources (FOCUS2, O-Net Online, and Occupational Outlook Handbook Online). Participants will be shown how to 1) determine students' career selection needs, 2) interpret career test results, and 3) guide students through the career exploration process.
