Workshop & Event Registration v2.0

Objective: Understand the nature of interpersonal conflict. Understand the role of conflict in personal relationships. Understand the affect of power in conflict. Understand communication principles for managing interpersonal conflict.

Participants will engage in activities to understand the nature of interpersonal conflict, their own personal conflict style, how power affects conflict, and communication principles for managing interpersonal conflict.

Lyn Colangelo received a BA, MA, and PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa and spent six years teaching communication courses at Kirkwood Community College in Iowa before coming to ACC in 1998.
