Workshop & Event Registration v2.0

Objective: The goal of this workshop is introduce faculty to the Desire2Learn lecture capture platform with the practical application of "flipping" a lesson. Attendees will be asked to view a short video before the workshop (as part of the flipping demonstration).

This will be a brief introduction to flipping instruction (using pre-recorded video to support class instruction) with emphasis on using ACC's Desire2Learn Capture platform.

Dr. Herb Coleman is an adjunct professor of psychology and the Director of Campus Technology Support. In his role as Director of Campus Technology Support, he assists faculty in obtaining, learning and using technology to enhance instruction. He also frequently leads discussions on copyright and computer ethics. He is a member of the Consortium College and University Media Centers (CCUMC) and the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA). He has taught psychology at Austin Community College since 1989.
