We are aware that all employees' Cybersecurity Awareness Training will expire 08/31/2021.

ALL mandatory training for new and current employees is suspended starting Monday, August 9, 2021 through November 1, 2021.
Employees will be able to resume training on Workday to fulfill compliance requirements after November 1, 2021.

More information will be sent to all staff and faculty soon.

Puente Summer Institute Training

Five-day intensive training program for faculty, deans, and coordinators on the goals and philosophy associated with implementing Puente in Texas, by Catch-The-Next, Inc. and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Training venue is at the University of Texas at Austin, June 8 through June 12 with final wrap-up session on June 19, 2015. Training sessions are conducted by noted scholars and authors, led by Dr. Maria Martha Chavez. Faculty will are challenged to modify and adapt their class syllabi so that lessons contain culturally responsive material.
