| Training Description: Nnenna Uzochukwu from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management will provide training for the ACC Career Development Committee, and other interested staff, on the Federal hiring process. The training will prepare us to help our students and alumni navigate the USAJOBS website (find and apply for Federal internships and jobs) and craft an effective Federal resume.
Presenter Bio:
Nnenna is a Senior Human Resources Specialist/Communications Advisor at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management with over 8 years of progressive experience in hiring and recruitment policy, strategic human capital and workforce planning, outreach, and strategic communications. She is well versed in regulation interpretation as well as establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Federal agencies and non-profit organizations. Nnenna also is experienced in developing proactive recruitment and outreach practices to improve student, veteran, minority, and persons with disabilities selection.
Nnenna has a Master of Public Administration in Non-profit Management from the American University School of Public Affairs and a Bachelors of Arts, Lambda Pi Eta, in Mass Media Studies and Political Science from Hofstra University. In her spare time, Nnenna enjoys being involved in community and national organizations. |
