SDD15: Improving Presentations Using Prezi

Learn how to create a Prezi, a web-based presentation software that adds vitality by using multimedia and movement. Discover what makes a good presentation and how to transform your presentation using Prezis theme wizard and transformation tool. Participants will set up an account, create a Prezi, import slides from a PowerPoint and learn how to insert images, video, audio, text shapes, and web links.
Merrilee Shopland is the Faculty Development Coordinator in ACCs Faculty Development Office. She brings over 24 years of experience working at ACC in both Professional Development and as an Adjunct Faculty Professor. Merrilee has a background in multimedia, training and development, as well as website and graphic design. She has presented nationally and specializes in the areas of presentations skills and software, teaching strategies, fostering creativity in the classroom and wellness. Merrilee's talent for producing short, informative comedic videos can be seen in the videos that she produces each year for General Assembly and other events. |
