As the founder of the 193 Project (www.193project.com), Scott Goyette will share his concept of creating a simple social (web-based) platform for students to share experiences of how they are bettering the world. It’s the simple gestures in life that make our days that much better—this is what the 193 Project is all about.

Students simply need to do something creative that helps others and share the details of the experience. The project is already in motion and working. Some students have simply held doors for one another and smiled during their free moments between classes. Others have bought roses and given them out and told the recipients to "take time and smell the roses". Some have created signs that explained they could provide a listening ear if you had something share...and camped out in the cafeteria. You would be amazed at how many people stopped to talk and were very appreciative of the offer.
