SDD14: Reading - Writing - Serving

This is a report of a five-year persistence study evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of combining reading, writing, and service learning in a developmental reading course. It investigates if more students who do the reading, writing, and service learning project (SL) successfully complete a college-level course than those who do not complete this project.
