SDD14: Maps in a Snap (Making Cool Online Interactive Maps)

ArcGIS Online (AGO) is a powerful platform for creating your own online interactive maps. In this workshop, you will create 4 or 5 maps that can be viewed in a browser, desktop or mobile device. These maps can also be embedded into blogs, web pages, and web applications or shared via Facebook, Twitter, or email. We will show you how easy it is to create interactive online maps and share them with your students. Come to the workshop - you will be amazed how easy it is to create and share interactive online maps! NO web programming is used to create these maps. If you can use Chrome or Firefox, you can and will make and share these maps!

Attendees: You will need to create a free ESRI account that you will need in order to do the mapping workshop.
To do this go to: https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html
-Click on the "Create Public Account button on the lower left side of the page.
-Fill in the required information
-Accept the Terms of Use
-Click the "Create Account" button

Once you have done that, you just need to bring your username and password to the workshop.
