SDD14: Understanding Data Analysis - The Journey Begins

Hours: 1.5

This workshop will define qualitative and quantitative research methods, discuss types of research studies, introduce the concepts of correlation and causation, and identify key statistical terms. In addition, the workshop will review several data sources available to faculty and staff. This workshop is based on the THECB professional development modules for educators on understanding data analysis developed by Wagler, Morales, & Rincones in 2012.
