The Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 (The Rehabilitation Act of 1973)

Hours: 2.5

Discussion of student rights to attend college with equal access and to be free from discrimination or harassment ; Explanation of new related Administrative Rules and procedures ACC will follow to investigate student complaints. After attending this session, attendees will be aware of student rights under the ADA and the new procedure for investigating complaints of discrimination on the basis of disability.
