Workshop & Event Registration v2.0

The presence of men of color across college campuses is in steady decline. Austin Community College is no exception. Of those who attend college, on-third or more will not succeed in returning the next year much less complete a certificate or degree. Dr. Victor Saenz, Associate Professor of Educational Administration, University of Texas, will host a frank discussion on emerging insights and issues that point to our systems and not students as the focus of change. Dr. Saenz has established ʺProject Malesʺ, UT Division of Diversity and Community Engagement. ACC participates as a consortium member in this effort. The workshop promises to be interactive. Attendees will examine a narrative that here-to-fore has been laden with convenient but unfounded assumptions.
