We are aware that all employees' Cybersecurity Awareness Training will expire 08/31/2021.

ALL mandatory training for new and current employees is suspended starting Monday, August 9, 2021 through November 1, 2021.
Employees will be able to resume training on Workday to fulfill compliance requirements after November 1, 2021.

More information will be sent to all staff and faculty soon.

E pluribus unum: celebrating diversity

Presented by Alemayehu (Alex) Weldemariam. ACC International Visiting Scholar. Alemayehu will reflect on diversity as a civic virtue worthy of celebrating in public life; that diversity is not only a fact of life, but also a value, public idea or civic virtue. That'll also give students a further opportunity to reflect on what it means to be American, what the well-known Latin motto 'e pluribus unum' means, etc. In so doing, he will draw upon his personal experience and scholarly work from Ethiopia, a multiethnic polity that has embarked on a unique and bold experiment with multination federalism and multiculturalism.
