| Todays classrooms have distinct challenges. The focus of this workshop will be to strengthen the Instructors ability to comfortably manage a classroom of adults. We will discuss specific issues and share a process of establishing class agreements that create a positive learning environment.
Presenters: Abby McCone, M.Ed.and Rosie Oliveira, M.Ed.
Abby McCone has been in the educational system in Texas for 35 years and has spent the last 20 years training teachers and administrators on student engagement strategies and teaching leadership techniques. She is a certified trainer of Instructional Leadership and the Professional Development and Assessment System with SMU.
Rosie Oliveira has been in the field of education for 33 years and specializes in motivational strategies for at-risk students. She has worked as a Principal, a Dean of Instruction, and has taught at both the community college and high school level. She has also been a trainer for the National Institute of School Leadership. |
