SDD13: Universal Design in the Classroom

Hours: 1.5

Participants in this workshop will learn the basics of Universal Design (UD) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). These principles can provide instructors with a framework to design instruction delivery that is rigorous, yet inclusive. The principles, once applied, can influence everything from the physical layout of the classroom to how instructional information is delivered to testing and assessment.
