SDD13: T'ai Chi Chih: Joy through Movement

| Sample a seated moving meditation. In addition to stress reduction, circulation, mood improvement, and mindfulness, T'ai Chi Chi provides benefits to internal organs, hips, and spinal areas. This workshop introduces a few pelvic and arm movements and meditation. T'ai Chi Chi brings increased benefits with daily practice. Approximately 8-45 minute lessons are required for the body to learn and build upon all 19 movements, yet there are benefits from the first 40 minute session. The goal is to carry knowledge home and feel improvement from the first session. No special clothing, shoes, mats, etc. are required - just a chair. |
