We are aware that all employees' Cybersecurity Awareness Training will expire 08/31/2021.

ALL mandatory training for new and current employees is suspended starting Monday, August 9, 2021 through November 1, 2021.
Employees will be able to resume training on Workday to fulfill compliance requirements after November 1, 2021.

More information will be sent to all staff and faculty soon.

SDD13: Engaging students with Course Content: Mapping Projects

Presenter: Lisa Volle, PhD, Central Texas College. Getting students jazzed about course content is often about making it authentic and personal. This "how to" session will discuss the many projects (for portfolios, papers, research) that will allow students to work individually or in group to create academic artifacts for courses and as samples of work for prospective employers. It will include timelines, objectives, rubrics, and reflections. This workshop is appropriate for any humanities or social science course.
