SS: Working with LGBTQ Students

This workshop will provide participants an overview of the needs of LGBTQ students as well as the language that staff can use to help LGBTQ students feel supported and affirmed. The presenter will raise the awareness of participants to how hetero-centrism affects students and address ways to deal with hetero-centrism and micro-aggression.
