AFA Spring General Membership Meeting - The Future of Online Instruction and the Role of College Faculty

Hours: 2

According to a recent survey by the College Board, nearly 30 percent of higher education students (two and four-year schools) now take at least one online course during their academic career and the number is steadily rising. With the growing demand by students for online instruction, colleges and universities are concentrating on how best to achieve academic success through the use of best practices. Join us as we discuss student outcomes and distance learning at ACC, the future of online education for community colleges, the limitations and boundaries of online instructions, the future of teaching online, and how/if online instruction can serve students successfully. Also, come meet and hear from Dr. Rhodes, ACC President/CEO and our panel of presenters who will be available to provide information, answer questions, and engage the membership in a discussion.
