The Senate and the ACCAFT are sponsoring this talk by the President of the AAUP (American Association of University Professors), Cary Nelson. He is a renowned scholar having authored 25 books and many essays, and has been interviewed on NPR . He advocates preserving and strengthening academic freedom in higher education, and will discuss key challenges facing colleges today, their implications for college employees and strategies for overcoming them.
