GA11: Teaching with Appreciative Inquiry

Hours: 1.5

This workshop would approach a positive, strength-building way to approach teaching in our community college classrooms. It will present Appreciative Inquiry - a positive core based approach to teaching - and SOAR - an AI-grounded alternative to evaluations - for use in the classroom as well as provide examples of the difference between how some professors teach and how I have used appreciative inquiry in my developmental mathematics classroom.
