Student Success Mentor Training

Hours: 2

This training is for ACC staff and faculty who are interested in becoming mentors for FITC (first time in college) students. Training objectives: explain the program and the connection to the Student Success Initiative, discuss the pairing process, engage participants in our appreciative inquiry mentoring model, and lastly provide communication/mentoring skills training and tips.
