About the Making Math Real Institute and Clinic: This is a two-day professional development institute covering multisensory structured K-12 content in mathematics. The institute is presented in association with both University of California Berkeley and Santa Cruz Extensions. The MMR Overview provides all educators the pedagogical foundations and practical applications of implementing and maintaining a comprehensive and fully structured multisensory methodology in mathematics. Participants will learn how and why this multisensory structured approach is powerful, successful, unique, and entirely different from the way math has been traditionally taught.
