SSD21: What can Student Technology Services do for your students?

Join Marc Petrick (Manager, Student Technology Services) as he provides an overview of Student Technology Services and what they can offer your students. Student Technology Services comprises Student Technology Support (phone, chat and email support) as well as the Office Academic Technology Computer Centers. We will talk about why Student Technology Services was created, what services we can offer your students now as well as a sneak peak into some of the services we will be offering in the future.

About the Presenter(s):
Marc Petrick has been with Austin Community College since February 2005 where he currently serves as the Manager of Student Technology Services. In his current role Marc manages the Student Technology Support call center as well as the Office of Academic Technology Computer Centers and facilitates checking out technology to students.

During his 16 years at Austin Community College, Marc has served as a Senior Computer Support technician for multiple departments and as a Manager in Library Services. In 2017 Marc was awarded the Austin Community College Leadership Award as Classified Employee of the Year as well as the NISOD Excellence Award.
