TLED: Office Hours with Zoom and Collaborate Ultra

Description:

This workshop is an introduction to using Collaborate and Zoom for virtual office hours with your students. Similarities and differences will be discussed.

Objectives:

  • Discuss the benefits and drawbacks of Collaborate Ultra and Zoom Meeting
  • Explain best practices when using either platform
  • Demonstrate how to set up office hours and recurring sessions for both platforms
  • Construct a office hours sign up sheet in Blackboard
  • Set up office hours slots in Google Calendar
