Concerned about online test security? Do you want to create a test where your students will receive different questions to prevent cheating? Blackboard gives you an easy and fast way to do so! In this workshop, you’ll learn to quickly create tests using random blocks.

Objectives:

Learn how to create a test using random blocks.
Recognize the difference between Random Block, Question Set, and Find Questions, and the pros/cons of each
Discuss the security advantage of a random block exam (Random Block, Question Set) versus a standard exam.
Best practices for random blocking.
Extra credit questions will need to be excluded from blocks.
Each Block of questions is aligned with a course learning objective.
