Have you ever tried creating a test in Blackboard? If so, you’ll know the task is long and laborious. A quicker way to get your test into Blackboard, whether an existing test or one you want to start from scratch, is by utilizing Respondus 4.0. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to format your tests to import into Respondus, where they’ll ultimately be uploaded into Blackboard.
Objectives:
- Differentiate between Respondus 4.0, Lockdown Browser, Monitor, and understand where each tool is utilized within the test/exam creation/upload/deployment process.
- Identify the different types of questions that can (and cannot) be made using Respondus.
- Correctly format multiple choice, true/false, essay, and questions with images.
- Recognize errors in a formatted document.
- Determine best practices when using Respondus.
- Use Notepad/Pages or Word
- Use consistent formatting
