This virtual ALLY training session will cover basic concepts of what it means to be an Ally as well as offering some practical skills to support LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff.
While the Allies Training does not prepare participants to counsel LGBTQIA+ individuals, it does however, provide participants with information and resources that will help eliminate myths, misconceptions and stereotypes often associated with LGBTQIA persons. After this training, participants may opt-in to receive an ALLY placard to display in your office and be listed on the official ACC ALLY directory.
