Equity in Faculty Hiring Workshop: Level 1

Hours: 3

This workshop will present information and engage faculty on the topic of equity in higher education, implicit bias in faculty hiring and current tools being used at ACC during the faculty hiring process that will help all committee members support ACC's commitment to equity across all college divisions and functions. Special attention will be paid to racial and ethnic considerations in terms of systemic bias within higher education generally and ACC specifically. Designed for faculty/staff who have never attended before.
