Learn how to meditate by incorporating Mantra Meditation into your daily life.
Regular meditation practice will bring equilibrium between professional and personal life.
Goal #1: Introduce participants to Neuroplasticity -

Goal #2: Practice a 30-minute Mantra Meditation -
Learn how to Meditate.

Meditation will give participants inner clarity and tranquility; in return, this stillness will enhance lecture creativity, generate inner stillness, and release years of accumulated stress.
Participants will begin to notice a shift in their daily life.
Lectures will flow with ease.
Participants will be less reactive.
Creativity will begin to flow in abundance.
Daily meditation improves concentration.
Participants will begin to experience deep rest.
Presenter(s):
Guadalupe (Lupe) is a Certified Primordial Sound Meditation instructor with over fifteen years of counseling experience. Her life passion is guiding people on how to reach their mental and physical goals, and help them become the best version of themselves. Her passion for diversity, travel, wellness, and learning about cultures allows her to build rapport with the world effortlessly. She holds a Master's degree in Counseling – Emphasis in Mental Health. Lupe is an athlete, race director, gardener, and outdoors enthusiast. She is trained and certified in Primordial Sound Meditation, mantras, and breathing (pranayama) techniques by the Deepak Chopra Center.
Her goal is to elevate the ACC Community by restoring and enhancing their quality of life with a powerful technique - Mantra Meditation. Lupe is a Completion Counselor at Austin Community College, Associate Professor of General Studies and Student Development, and the ACC Fairway 5K Race Director. Her home Campus is the beautiful Highland Campus. She is often found walking around campus or meditating with students and staff in her office. She welcomes the opportunity to share her skillset with those who seek to restore balance in their day-to-day life. This Spring 2020, she is guiding a group from Highland Campus to Walk or Run The ACC Fairway 5K - on Sunday, March 1st, 2020.
