Are you ready to try something new in your classroom to challenge yourself or meaningfully engage your students? The Office of Experiential Learning may have just what you're looking for! This workshop will introduce you to the experiential learning opportunities that OEL supports, share the benefits you and your students can expect from participation, and show you how to get involved.

A participant in this workshop will walk away with an understanding of how OEL supports faculty interested in facilitating a Service-Learning, Internship, or Cooperative course, and how they can best utilize these supports.

Presenter(s):

Sabryna Groves has their Masters of Arts in Educational Studies with a concentration in Civic Education from the University of Michigan. They have been working as the Service-Learning Coordinator with ACC for one year, and previously served two years as the Co-Coordinator of Service-Learning in a combined middle and high school.
